Wendy Stapley graduated from ASU with a degree in music therapy in December 2008. She interned with Cliff Ewbank of Intempo LLC. She was secretary/treasurer of the Student WRAMTA organization in 2007-2008. She helped with the compiling and selling of a student songbook. The songbook consisted of original songs written by music therapy students that can be used in various therapeutic settings. The book was sold at the 2008 WRAMTA conference. Proceeds went to the WRAMTAS funds for the following years passages conference.

Currently Wendy is working as an indpendent contractor for several assisted living facilities in the valley. She also teaches Music Together. She is a mom of 4 children and grandma to 4 grandchildren.

When understands that an effective and involved AzMTA is vitally important for the music therapy community in Arizona. She has benefitted from this organization by participating in the social events and symposiums. She has also benefitted from being listed on the website with direct contacts from potential clients and through connecting with potential employers.

Wendy feels that it is important for an organization to be fiscally responsible and operate within the current budget. She will work to achieve this while at the same time help organize high quality continuing education opportunities for music therapists in Arizona.
