Patricia is a Board-Certified Music Therapist who studied Music Therapy at Arizona State University, completing her internship with Higher Octave Healing. Her clinical training provided opportunities to provide individual and group services for a variety of individuals, such as: children and young adults with developmental disabilities, substance abuse/psychiatric patients, hospital patients, dementia. She has also participated in program development, fund-raising, and music therapy advocacy.
Patricia is currently employed part-time by Higher Octave Healing, where she provides music therapy services to individuals with disabilities.
Patricia is a trained HealthRhythms Facilitator, an evidenced-based recreational drumming protocol, focusing on at wellness, stress relief, and group empowerment.
Patricia’s passion for Music Therapy arose from the power music has played throughout her life. As her five children have grown and followed their own pursuits, Patricia realized her own dream to become a music therapist.
