Michael Plunkett is a Board Certified Music Therapist and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Arizona State University. Michael has used music therapy with diverse groups of people including individuals with developmental disabilities, adults with Alzheimer’s disease, children and adults in hospital setting and wellness settings, and many others.
Michael has been working with the special needs community and teaching music in Phoenix since 2006. He continues to provide music therapy services to individuals and groups with special needs in home, school, and community based settings.
Michael also specializes in leading and facilitating community drum circles and instructing “rock band” groups for teens with special needs.
In his free time, Michael enjoys hiking, playing a variety of music instruments, creating electronic music, and recording/producing music.
